Charapro Great Nita Figure Review Part 2

A while ago, I wrote a brief article about the Great Nita DX blister pack from my collection. To this day, I still can't get myself to open the contents, but as luck would have it another Great Nita figure was listed for sell on eBay that is loose and comes with all of his accessories minus the barbed wire. Although a vital accessory was missing, an extra chair, ring bell, and hammer was included in this bundle deal. I managed to snag this great set for a good price, and now I have the pleasure to review both Great Nita and most of his official accessories.

In my previous review of the Great Sasuke and referee Tiger Hattori, I've hinted that there were still two figures to be reviewed. These pieces are the latest additions to my puroresu figure collection. Today's post will feature another figure version of Kokushi Muso and "NWO" Great Muta, a Keiji Mutoh theme.

Puroresu Figure Review: Great Sasuke & Tiger Hattori

I originally planned to complete my review of two Transformers figures for 'Saibaa Nichiyoobi,' but was unable to because of some unforeseen circumstances. Regardless, I still want to provide something, so I'll instead review all of my puroresu figures that were recently added to my collection. The Great Sasuke and Tiger Hattori are just two out of four puroresu figures that I want to write about. Without further a do, let's move on tho the review!

This set has got to be one of the best batches that Charapro has released because there is an abundance of accessories included. Great Nita is an alter ego that death match legend Atsushi Onita adopted as early as 1994. Of course, his gimmick was inspired by the Great Muta.

In my previous review, I shared with you everything I knew about the Great Muta (Darth Vader) version. I guess that makes him Darth Muta? The cool part about Muta was that he wore a one piece hood and mask that looked similar to Darth Vader's helmet. However, beneath that hood was Muta's mask that looked similar to Darth Maul's head. Now that the entrance is removed, we will now look at the Darth Maul version of Great Muta!

Besides being a great character, Great Muta is also known for wearing some of the coolest entrance and ring gear in pro-wrestling history. I think what made the Great Muta unique, since his re-introduction in 2002, was his various themes that were sometimes inspired by different movie characters. In 2005 The Great Muta dawned a new theme inspired by Darth Vader and another character, which I will talk about later, from the Star Wars movie series.  Eventually, Character Product released a DX (Deluxe) figure to replicate Great Muta's entrance gear. So, let's take a closer look at Great Muta (Darth Vader) DX ver. Figure....jeez that's a mouthful.

 Great Muta (alter-ego of Keiji Mutoh) is one of my favorite professional wrestlers today, so to make a review about one of his figures today seems fitting. I bought this version of Muta from ebay. Honestly, finding loose Japanese figures on sale these days is really tough. You are likely to find at least one unpackaged figure every month. I paid more attention to loose figures lately because I like to look at them from different angles and display them on a shelf.

Ohayou gozaimasu! It's time once again to review another pro-wrestling figure from Japan! Today, I'll examine a toy based on a wrestler whose career is surrounded by praises and controversy.

Charapro: Kokushi Muso Deluxe Figure Review

Kokushi Muso is another alter ego of professional wrestler Keiji Mutoh, but is only seen in a few shows. Kokushi Muso is based on his tag-team partner, Hakushi's monk character. Hakushi means "White Angel," while Kokushi Muso is "Black Angel." I like this character because Keiji Mutoh combines the style of Hakushi and the Great Muta. In other words, Kokushi's style is mostly resembles Hakushi, but will use poison mist and the shining wizard when needed!

Kokushi Muso Deluxe Figure made by Charapro is amazing! I should point out that wrestling figures in Japan does lack articulation compared to toys made from Jakks and Mattel. To some collectors, lack of pose-ability sucks because I guess they can't do much with it, so they stay away from Japanese figures. They do have a point and there's nothing wrong with that. As for me, I think the toys are unique and worth collecting.
