Kawaii-Kon 2012 Recap

Hello fellow ravers! This is Aaron providing a short recap of my trip to Kawaii-Kon 2012. For those that don't know what Kawaii-Kon is, Kawaii-Kon is Hawaii's very own anime convention. This annual event invites special guests that are known in Japan and the US, with an attendance of over 6000 people this year. There are special guest panels, video game rooms, movie theaters, dealers room, and much more. This year, Kawaii-Kon 2012 took place on March 16 - 18. I admit that I did not stay during the entire event (opening - closing) for three days straight. I had other plans that weekend, but I did drop by often.

Bandai: Sea God (Kaishin Muba) Figure Review

Even though most of my figure collections are based from monsters that have starred in the Godzilla movie franchise, there are other creatures I find equally fascinating. This kaiju is usually called the Sea God in Japan, but is sometimes known as Kaishin Muba in other places so forgive me when I refer to this monster under one name.

Kpop Thoughts: "Lovey Dovey" by T-ara

Boys and girls have no fear, for WimpLo is here! Miss me everyone? Well, I missed you! Back from my Japan trip and on to blogging!

One of the best things that happened during my hiatus is T-ara's newest single "Lovey Dovey" which was released in their "Funky Town" album in January. After the retro style they used in "Roly Poly" and the melancholy mood of "Cry Cry", the talented girls of T-ara brought the action of a night club's dance floor to their stage with "Lovey Dovey". On top of that, they made full use of the popular "shuffle dance" and included that in their dance routine. This resulted in a fun and catchy song that fans of K-pop can fully enjoy.
