Today, there are a huge market of Ultra Kaiju toys that are made to be either screen accurate or super poseable. However, there are a lot of figure collectors out there, who still appreciate the aesthetics of a classic sofubi. Luckily, Jon from RAMPAGE TOYS continues to make the collecting scene exciting by starting a toy line called, "RAMPAGE ULTRA KAIJU SERIES."
Currently, there are five Ultra Kaiju included in this line, namely, Jamira, Aboras, Pigumon, and Red King with Pigumon omake. Each character was personally selected by Jon and later approved by Tsuburaya Productions prior to manufacturing.
This superb line of figures offer the same qualities everyone could expect from a Japanese sofubi, such as great sculpting, eye appealing colors, and simple points of articulation. Each figure sports a unique design that isn't duplicated anywhere else because these toys were licensed by Marmit, while Jon handled the production phase, such as sculpting, painting, and even designing the header cards.
Upon the release of these figures, RAMPAGE TOYS has seen an immediate success. Red King and Pigumon have already sold out in a short amount of time. However, Jon shared that the momentum will not slow down either, as there could be one or two more Ultra Kaiju added in the future. The new figures could be ready in time for Winter Wonder Festival and a web shop listing on February 2016!
