Happy Godzilla Day!

I received a special haul this morning. In one shopping trip, I was able to add more blu-ray movies in my collection, including Legendary's Godzilla (2014). However, the most anticipated arrival is definitely S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla (2014)! A figure review draft is already in the works. The final draft will be posted immediately after completion. I hope you all look forward to it!

Kawaii-Kon 2014 Collection Haul

Kawaii-Kon has celebrated their 10th Anniversary, and this event will always be one my most memorable trips due to the amount of stuff that I bought from the Dealers Room. Although the non-toy purchases outnumbered this year's overall figure count, I feel that this year has been my best shopping spree so far. My latest collection haul includes (from left to right):

• S.H. FiguArts Perfect Cell
• Bandai HG 1/100 Death Scythe
• S.H. MonsterArts MFS-3 (Kiryu/Mechagodzilla III)

I'm currently working on a draft for Kiryu's review, but won't get around to publishing my article soon, due to other figure reviews that are currently under development. However, I can promise to have Kiryu's review posted in the earliest part of May. Perfect Cell and Death Scythe will also be covered sometime in the future, so please check back for future updates.

Collector’s Update & an Upcoming Review (3/25/14)

I am very excited for the latest addition to my collection, mostly due to these figures being long out of production. Diamond's X-Plus Godzilla 2001 has arrived, and accordingly, will be reviewed momentarily. Please check back for more updates!

SHMA Godzilla 1964 Review Is In The Works!

S.H. MonsterArts' latest web exclusive entry in this toy line, Godzilla 1964, has arrived last week Thursday. A review of this figure is already in production, which should be published by the end of this Sunday!

Collector's Update and More Reviews To Come! (8/3/13)

This past week has definitely been a string of good luck! Two additional figures have been added to my collection.

Happy Fourth of July (Neo) America!

In observance of this year's Indepence Day, I want to make another quick update that my next Gunpla project will be G-Gundam's Gundam Maxter...the mobile suit that represents and screams that this was made.............in America!

It's All Or Nothing!

Spring Break begins next week Monday here in the University of Hawaii. I set up a plan to study Japanese to prepare myself for the big, final exam just two months away. To keep myself from going nuts, I've decided to build my Devil Gundam model and add a custom paint job. I'm not sure how the finished product will look like, since this is my first Gundam project ever. However, I've done some homework and I'll take my time to keep the quality consistent.

Devil Gundam invades 'The Rave Corner' and I'm hightailing to Kawaii Kon 2013!

Hello viewers! This is Aaron for another update. Hobby Link Japan sent Bandai's 1/144 NG Devil Gundam model. The box is gorgeous and bigger than other 1/144 box sizes. I am undecided to either paint the model or snap it together without customization.

I will be attending Kawaii Kon 2013. Hopefully, there will be some cool stuff to buy this year. This event will be covered after the event is over.

Until then, enjoy your weekend!

More 'Saibaa Nichiyoobi' coming up!

A lot of figures showed up in the mail this week, which means there's more "Saibaa Nichiyoobi," articles coming soon!

As a preview to what you can expect, I provided a picture below. I received a brand new Fall of Cybertron Shockwave, Transformers PCC Steamhammer with Constructicons, and Sledge with Throttler. I haven't exactly decided on the order yet, but they all will be reviewed soon. There will be one review ready by this Sunday.

I will be idle for a while starting next week Wednesday because  of 2NE1's concert in LA. I'd like to take as many snap shots as I can, hopefully without getting into trouble for it. I still don't know why non-professional cameras aren't allowed in concerts. We fans need proof of attendance too!

Anyways, I thank everyone for stopping by the blog to view any content myself and others put out. Please come back often, and subscribe if you haven't already. I for one, will continue to improve and deliver better stuff, so please feel free to make any suggestions through the comment boxes or messages. Trust me, I read and consider every message sent.

New arrivals and more entries coming soon!

After much patience, S.H. MonsterArts Little Godzilla finally arrived in the mail today. The box is a lot smaller than I thought compared to the other Kaiju's that have been released before, but I'm not complaining. I also received two other Kaiju figures that were bought from a seller on ebay: Fuurin-Idom (Wind Chime Idom) from Mikazuki and Antimatter from Ultraman Gaia.

I'm working on a review for all three of these figures and they will be out as soon as possible. As for Hustle entries, unfortunately there aren't anything new from HustleFightingOpera yet. However, I will post new links from his channel as soon as they are up.

I also realize that there haven't been much K-Pop related content posted lately. I will be going to 2NE1's solo concert in the Nokia Center later this month, and I do plan to do a quick recap of that. Hopefully camera's of any kind will be permitted. Since I'll be in LA again, another trip to Anime Jungle will be a must!

If there's anything you'd like to suggest (ex: specific figure review, anime, K-Pop, etc.), please feel free to leave a comment and I'll see what I can do.
