In the previous updates on The Rave Corner, we've seen Bake-Kujira's iron mold and vinyl castings of the Kaiju's head. This time, the sofubi's designer, Candie Bolton, has provided a picture of the assembled and unpainted casting of Bake-Kujira.
Bake-Kujira is a sofubi based on an actual mythical Japanese creature, who shares the same name. Bake-Kujira is a yokai in the form of a skeleton whale, which sought revenge against wailers who took the lives of these marine mammals.
