Kabaya's Fortress Maximus DX Commander Base + Charger Quick Review

Commander Base and Charger are one out of three separate kits that are needed to complete Fortress Maximus. As mentioned in the latest edition of Let's Build A Model, this part took me over an hour to complete, mostly due to my meticulous side spending a lot of time trying to trim some leftover sprues and applying stickers almost perfectly. I'm certain other modelers finished theirs in under an hour, but that's okay. Overall, I am satisfied with what I have accomplished, and now I'll just quickly explain what the first piece to Fortress Maximus looks like.

Commander Base + Charger (Kabaya DX Fortress Maximus Box #1)

Greetings and thank you for taking the time to visit this exciting edition of Let's Build A Model! Today, I'll build Box (1/3) of Kabaya's DX Fortress Maximus model kit/candy toy. The first box contains parts for FM's Commander Base and Charger.

FOC Voyager Grimlock Review

For the next couple of weeks, I will sort of go with a dinosaur theme with my figure reviews, starting with Grimlock. Fall Of Cybertron Grimlock was released in 2012, and has been a figure I anticipated amongst other Voyager class toys from the FOC Line. However, as far as classic toys goes, this particular version really tests how much a fan truly loves Grimlock.

Charapro Great Nita Figure Review Part 2

A while ago, I wrote a brief article about the Great Nita DX blister pack from my collection. To this day, I still can't get myself to open the contents, but as luck would have it another Great Nita figure was listed for sell on eBay that is loose and comes with all of his accessories minus the barbed wire. Although a vital accessory was missing, an extra chair, ring bell, and hammer was included in this bundle deal. I managed to snag this great set for a good price, and now I have the pleasure to review both Great Nita and most of his official accessories.

X-Plus (USA) Godzilla 1964 (Mothra Vs Godzilla) Figure Review

Continuing the hype of S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla '64 to be released in July (August in America), I will review another Godzilla 1964 figure that was made by X-Plus (USA). X-Plus (Japan) are well known for their highly detailed kaiju figures with an accurate paint job. Let's see how their American branch did.

Iwakura Ganime Figure Review

Ganime is one out of three monsters that starred in Toho's kaiju movie, Space Amoeba. Ganime was created when a space amoeba crash landed on earth then possessed a stone crab after Gezora's attack was thwarted, forming the creature you see here. Ganime was one out 13 other figures to be randomly sold through Iwakura/Orion's Godzilla Ver. 3:  Godzilla's Son Collection series. All figures were packaged in the same (blind) box art.

Kaiyodo Revoltech Baragon Review

The time has finally come, my very first Kaiju from Kaiyodo's Sci-Fi Revoltech line! Baragon was up there in my list of monsters I'd love to own from this line. Thanks to my good friend WimpLo, all of this was possible!

SDCC (2013) Exclusive Bludgeon Review

In an amazing move, Hasbro has included Bludgeon into this year's (2013) SDCC exclusive "Transformers vs G.I. Joe" toy line. Naturally, Bludgeon raised a lot of attention and demand, as evidenced by how much they are going for on eBay. Without any further a do, let's jump into the review!

Kaiyodo Revoltech Type 66 Maser Cannon Review

To be honest, I've been on the fence on this one for a while now. While I unanimously dislike any threat against Godzilla since I was a kid, this toy did look really cool. The price though was always the main reason for me to not pull the trigger, till now. I was able to purchase this toy for a great deal and am looking forward to seeing everything out of the box.
