Toho Large Monsters Series: Godzilla 1989 & Biollante Light Up Ver. Set – Premium Bandai Limited Edition

As one of the biggest announcements made by X-Plus in 2015, X-Plus reissued 25 cm versions of Biollante and Godzilla 1989 with light-up features. This exclusive set was only available through Premium Bandai’s website. This announcement was a big deal for avid Godzilla figure collectors, as Biollante was one of the most wanted X-Plus figures, since the first production run has ended. With Bandai and Diamond Comic Distributors obtaining exclusive deals for Biollante’s reproduction, fans are finally able to get another chance to own Biollante for rates that are likely cheaper than what the first production goes for in today’s market. When Biollante and Godzilla arrived, they certainly did not disappoint.

X-Plus Toho 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection: Godzilla (1991) Gidogoji Hokkaido Version Review

X-Plus has once again obtained exclusive rights to reissue one of Yuji Sakai's popular model kits into a limited mass produced figure. Frankly, this figure has been haunting me, since I missed my opportunity to buy the Japanese version years ago. Despite my initial positive impression, I couldn't budget enough funds to purchase that figure back then. I lived with my regret, not knowing what the future may hold later. Thankfully, Diamond Distributors obtained an exclusive license to reissue this figure to USA, and the timing could not have been better!

X-Plus Gigantic Series Godzilla 1995 Review

X-Plus surprised many by announcing their second figure added in their special Gigantic Series line. The first figure was GMK Godzilla. Products from the Gigantic Series aren't suit accurate, but they instead take an artistic approach that interprets Daikaiju as more of a living creature, and Burning Godzilla (1995) is another prefect candidate for this line. X-Plus obtained permission to use Kaibutsuya's master mold of their previous Burning Godzilla model kit to create this figure. The one in this review is X-Plus' standard release and not the Ric. Boy Exclusive.

Bandai Museum Godzilla 1962 Review

This review is a real treat. I've always been a fan of Bandai Museum's daikaiju related figures, since X-Plus was contracted to do the sculpts. With much luck, I scored a Godzilla '62 figure for a pretty good price. Now that another figure is off my want list, let's move on to the review.

X-Plus Diamond Reissue Mothra (Larva) 1961 Review
